Peter Heimann z"l

1946 -2008

Peter Heimann was born on 14 May 1946 in London. He always had a passion for music and was brought up in a very musical family with music all around him. His greatest love was singing which he did together with his wife Sue when they sang in the choir at Belsize Square Synagogue. Peter was also passionate about Cantorial music and went to many Cantorial concerts wherever possible. He was a founder member of the London Cantorial Singers and he sang with other male voice choirs over the years.
Peter not only sang but he became a member of the choir's executive committee with responsibility for recording and amplifying the sound of the choir and soloists at our concerts. Indeed, Peter was a major part of The London Cantorial Singers and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
